Create and switch workspaces
Keep each company or client’s information separate while switching safely between saved workspaces.
Before you start
- Sign in to an account that owns or belongs to the workspaces.
- Additional owned workspaces are limited by plan: Free 1, Pro 3, Business unlimited.
Step-by-step walkthrough
Step 1
Open the workspace menu
Select the company name at the top of the sidebar. The menu lists workspaces you can access; it is not a directory of everyone’s workspace.
Step 2
Add a new workspace when needed
Use the creation option in that menu and choose the starting mode. Give the workspace a recognizable company or client name so similar workspaces are not confused.
Step 3
Switch to an existing workspace
Select the intended workspace. Cloopp saves the current workspace before switching. Wait for the switch to complete and check the company name, departments and content.
Step 4
Confirm access per workspace
Review Team access separately in each workspace. Being invited to one does not automatically grant access to another; invites and domain preferences belong to their own workspace.
Practical example
An agency’s internal and client libraries
Use one workspace for internal operations and separate client workspaces for shared delivery material. Check the active company name before uploading or inviting someone.
Common issues and fixes
- A workspace is missing from the menu
- Check that you signed in to the correct account and accepted an invitation to that workspace.
- Creating another workspace is blocked
- Check your plan’s owned-workspace allowance. Existing workspaces are not deleted by a downgrade, but creation can be blocked when over the lower limit.
What success looks like
Each workspace retains its own content, branding and intentional membership.
