Start a workspace from scratch
Create an empty workspace and let a representative document batch suggest its organization.
Before you start
- Sign in and have room for a new workspace under your account plan.
- Have AI credits available. Review the proposed result before applying changes.
Step-by-step walkthrough
Step 1
Choose the scratch starting point
On setup or the new-workspace chooser, select Start from scratch — let your files build it. This path avoids sample library content; it is distinct from a template starter.
Step 2
Complete required company details
For a first workspace, enter the company details and complete the remaining setup choices. Existing accounts may reuse their saved company profile.
Step 3
Create the empty workspace
Finish with Create & upload my files. Creation is additive and does not overwrite your other workspaces. The document blueprint flow opens next.

Approve structure, then SOPs
Upload representative documents, review suggested tabs and widgets, and select Build my workspace. Then inspect the SOP import drafts and approve those separately. Without files, the workspace remains available for manual additions.
Practical example
Build from real agency processes
Use onboarding, delivery and billing documents to shape a small empty workspace. Reject suggestions that do not correspond to the way the agency actually works.
Common issues and fixes
- I expected SOPs immediately after creating it
- Scratch intentionally begins without sample procedures. Upload and approve documents or add a manual SOP.
- A widget suggestion is irrelevant
- Uncheck it before building. You do not need to accept every suggested tool to create useful departments.
What success looks like
An empty starting point becomes an organization you reviewed, without unwanted sample knowledge.
