Manage your plan and credits
Compare account limits, understand AI usage, and change plans without deleting existing workspaces.
Before you start
- Sign in to the account that owns the subscription. A read-only workspace member does not manage its owner’s billing.
- Payment actions use real checkout on the live site; preview payments are test-only.
Step-by-step walkthrough
Step 1
Open Plan & billing
Use Plan & billing in the sidebar. Check your current plan and credit balance before selecting a change.
Step 2
Compare the limits you need
Free includes 5 AI credits per day, capped at 30 per month, 1 workspace and 5 people per workspace. Pro is $25/month with 100 monthly credits, 3 workspaces and 25 people each. Business is $50/month with 250 monthly credits and unlimited workspaces and people.
Step 3
Choose the billing period and checkout
Pro yearly is $250 and Business yearly is $500. Compare the total and billing period in checkout before paying. AI actions use credits; normal reading, searching and manual editing do not.
Step 4
Understand upgrades and downgrades
Upgrades apply immediately with proration. Downgrades apply at the paid period’s end. Existing workspaces and people are retained, but lower-plan limits block adding more when you are already over the allowance.
Practical example
More clients, not just more AI
Choose a higher plan when you need additional workspaces or people. Buy a credit pack if AI volume is the only constraint; packs do not raise those limits.
Common issues and fixes
- A preview purchase did not change my live account
- Preview test entitlements are isolated from the live site. Complete live checkout only when you intend an actual purchase.
- I downgraded but still see the higher plan
- A scheduled downgrade takes effect after the paid period, not immediately. Check the next billing date.
