Before you start

  • Sign in as the workspace owner or an admin. Read-only members cannot change workspace content.
  • Have AI credits available. Review the proposed result before applying changes.
  • Use a Google account with access to the intended documents. A popup may be needed for connection.

Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Step 1

    Open the Drive connection

Select Upload documents, then Connect Google Drive and scan folders. This is an import connection, not a Google sign-in option for your Cloopp account.

  2. Step 2

    Authorize the correct Google account

Complete the connection window and confirm the account. Cloopp reads Drive files for import; it does not edit the source Drive documents. If already connected, choose Browse.

  3. Step 3

Select files or folders and scan

Browse the folder trail and tick the files or folders to include. Selected folders include their contents. Choose Scan selected, then review the regular scan report. Keep import batches within 50 ready files; supported downloads are limited to 15 MB each.

  4. Step 4

    Organize, inspect and approve

Select Organize N files. Compare the draft Source, title and instructions to the Drive document, then use Preview & edit full SOP and Approve N SOPs.

Practical example

Import a department handbook folder

Select only the HR policy folder you are authorized to share. Review the scan for duplicates and verify policy dates in the drafts before approval.

Common issues and fixes

The connection window does not open
Allow popups for Cloopp and retry. If you connected the wrong account, use Disconnect, then connect the intended account.
Some Drive files do not import
Unsupported or oversized downloads can be skipped. Export a readable supported file locally or paste the essential content; inspect the resulting draft before approval.

What success looks like

Selected Drive content enters the same scan-and-approval workflow as local documents.
