Design a workspace from an idea or reference
Describe a custom portal or supply a design reference, then inspect the AI proposal before creation.
Before you start
- Sign in with capacity to create another workspace.
- Have AI credits available. Review the proposed result before applying changes.
- Have permission to use any design reference or images you upload.
Step-by-step walkthrough
Step 1
Choose the starting mode
Select Tell us your idea for a written brief, or Match a look for a screenshot or website reference. Both are optional alternatives to the upload-first library path.
Step 2
Provide a bounded brief
State departments, useful widgets and design preferences. For Match a look, enter the website address or upload a reference screenshot, and explain what to borrow without copying protected content.
Step 3
Generate and inspect the proposal
Use the AI generation action in that mode. Review the proposed layout, departments and widgets. Verify that it is suitable for your actual team rather than treating the reference as a guaranteed exact clone.
Step 4
Create only after review
Finish with Create workspace once the proposal is acceptable. Check the new workspace, replace sample content and import your own documents through the regular review-and-approval flow.
Practical example
A specific agency portal brief
“Use a clean layout with Client Success, Delivery and Finance. Add a handover checklist and margin calculator. Do not invent client data or company policies.”
Common issues and fixes
- The reference website cannot be read accurately
- Provide a clear screenshot and describe the desired structure. Do not assume the AI can reproduce every page or interactive feature.
- The generated content is only a starter
- Replace examples with verified company information and approve imported SOPs separately before treating it as operational knowledge.
