Create training and company updates
Prepare lessons, quizzes or announcements as drafts, then publish them for your workspace team.
Before you start
- Sign in as the workspace owner or an admin. Read-only members cannot change workspace content.
- Have the approved training material and video links. AI drafting uses 1 credit.
Step-by-step walkthrough
Step 1
Open Training & updates
Select Training & updates in the workspace sidebar. Confirm you are in the intended workspace before creating material for its team.
Step 2
Choose course or update
New course creates a training draft; New update creates an announcement draft. Create with AI lets you select Training course or Company update, provide a brief or up to five files, and select Draft it.
Step 3
Edit the learning material
Open the draft with Edit. Set the title and summary, write lesson bodies, and add lessons for a course. Video links must be supported YouTube, Vimeo or Loom links. For quizzes, write the question, options and correct answer.
Step 4
Preview and publish
Use Preview to inspect the learner experience. Save keeps an unpublished draft; Publish makes it available to members. Check names, policy dates and quiz answers before publishing.
Step 5
Review completion
Return to All modules and open the completion count for that module to inspect people’s progress. Updates require acknowledgment; courses track lessons and quiz results.
Practical example
A first-week onboarding course
Use separate lessons for account access, client communication and reporting. Add a scenario question to each lesson, and use a Company update for a later policy announcement.
Common issues and fixes
- A video does not embed
- Use a supported YouTube, Vimeo or Loom URL rather than a local file path or an arbitrary player link.
- Members cannot see my module
- Check that it is published in the workspace they belong to. Drafts are not visible to read-only members.
What success looks like
Published training or announcements with per-person completion tracking in the intended workspace.
